Perfomance in the MIBF-2020
MIBF (Moscow International Book Fair) is a significant event in the fields of culture, philology, and book publishing. Visitors of the exhibition listened with interest to Maria Aksenova's speech (the President of the Printing Pioneer Fund).

One of the main tasks of our Fund is to promote Russian language. The visitors of the exhibition showed their love for the Russian language and interest in its history.
After the performance, Maria Aksenova was interviewed by one of the channels.
100 questions from parents
At the All-Russian conference "100 questions from Parents", we moderated a discussion panel dedicated to online education.

The panel was attended by representatives of leading EdTech companies (Uchi.ru, Puzzle English, Algorithmics, Maximum) and two well-known educational methodologists who are themselves parents of multiple children.
Meeting with readers in the bookstore on Vozdvizhenka
The President of the Printing Pioneer Fund held a meeting with the readers of the book "Do we know Russian language?" and a quiz on the knowledge of the subtleties of the Russian language in the store "Moscow" on Vozdvizhenka.

In the discussion of the correct answers, readers shared with each other and learned from the author a lot of interesting and unexpected things about the language, about the origin of words, names, sayings, etc.
Competition in Russian as a foreign language
The final ceremony of the competition was held in the building of Arts and Philology Faculty of the St. Petersburg State University. Svetlana Lavrentieva, an employee of the Printing Pioneer Fund (in the center), took part in summing up the results and awarding the winners. In the photo on the right, the vice-president of ROPRYAL, the dean of the Special Philological Faculty of the St. Petersburg State University, Yevgeny Yurkov.

Russian Language and Literature Teachers Society and St. Petersburg University held the competition during the forum "Problems of studying and teaching Russian as a foreign language". The main task of the contest is to promote Russian language. Many kind, sincere words were heard from the stage. The contest participants proved their love for the Russian language, the ability to feel its inner logic, beauty and richness.
Round table "Literacy" at the Moscow International Book Fair
A round table on literacy was held as a part of the Moscow International Book Fair. The round table was attended by experts in the field of Russian language and book publishing, including the editor-in-chief of the Book Review newspaper Alexander Nabokov (pictured on the right) and the President of the Fund Maria Aksenova (pictured in the center), as well as visitors of the fair. There were proposals to establish responsibility of the publisher for the quality of proofreading in the books he produces, since visual memory is the strongest in most people and they remember the spelling of a word as they see it in books.
Opening the monument to Arina Rodionovna
On December 20, a monument to the famous Pushkin's nanny Arina Rodionovna was unveiled in the Borovsky district of the Kaluga Region on the territory of the cultural and educational center "Ethnomir".

The idea of creating the monument belongs to the writer Mikhail Zadornov. He was supported by the head of the "Ethnomir" project Ruslan Bayramov and the President of the Printing Pioneed Fund Maria Aksenova (pictured with a microphone).

On February 16, a meeting was held with readers of the book "Do we Know Russian language?" in the Molodaya Gvardiya bookstore. Maria Aksenova gave a short lecture and held a quizin the end .

It was joyful to see how people enthusiastically take part in the quiz on the Russian language, how carefully they listen, how they relate to the language and its roots.

Meetings with readers and poetry lovers
In 2012-15, a series of meetings with Maria Aksenova took place in one of the most famous bookstores - BIBLIO-GLOBUS.

The audience got acquainted with the history of sayings, the names of residents of different cities, the subtleties and paradoxes of the Russian language, learned about unknown pages of biographies of famous writers, plunged into the atmosphere of literary creativity and enlightenment.
